render the Directory in every way worthy of the patronage it
has received, have this year added a list of the Messengers-at-
Arms, corrected from the books of the Lyon Office, up to the
25th M ay, which they hope will prove acceptable to the gen-
tlemen of the legal profession ; and they beg to assure the
Public, that no exertions or expense shall be spared to pro-
mote the utility of the publication, by endeavouring to insure
its correctness, by including every possible information, and
by OS early a publication as circumstances will admit ; as a
proof of tlieir exertions in the. latter respect, they beg to men-

than it has ever before been.
