THE BUSINESS of this ASSOCIATION embraces Assurances on Lives and Survivor-
ships, Annuities, Endowments, and every other description of Risk contingent on the
Duration of Human Life.
THE PREMIUMS may be paid Yearly, Half-yearly, Quarterly, on an Increasing or
Decreasing Scale, for a limited Number of Years only, or in a Single Payment, at the option
of the Assured.
ONE-HALF of the Annual Premiums may remain Unpaid for Three, Five, or Seven
Years, on Policies effected for the whole Term of Life.
THE ASSURED participate in the Profits of the Association to as large an extent as
in any Mutual Society, and without liability.
THE BONUS ADDITIONS may be applied either as an addition to Sum Assured, I
or in reduction of the Future Premiums ; or their value may be received in an immediate j
Cash Payment.
CLAIMS are paid, either on Scotch or English Titles ; and parties transacting with the I
Office in Scotland secure every benefit they can obtain in an exclusively Scotch Office.
LOANS are granted, in connexion with Life Assurance, on Redeemable Annuity, or onl
Personal or other Security. Policy-holders are allowed to borrow to the extent of the pre- 1
sent value of their Policies, without farther security.
Prospectuses, with Tables of Rates, &c, may be obtained at the Head Off ce?, or fivm
the Agents in all the principal Towns of Scotland.
