HE whole Profits of this Society belong to the Assured.
It has a most ample guarantee Fund.
It has no Shareholders or privileged Members, but all possess one common rateable interest.
Its Policy-holders have an efficient voice in the conduct of its affairs, and thus they see that the most pru-
dent economy is observed.
One prevalent source of large expenditure has in this Office, as in the Equitable of London-, been success-
fully resisted, and is entirely saved for the benefit of the iMembers.
It has been enabled, not to promise merely, but to make additions to its Policies of from 24 to 72 per
cent on the Premiums paid.
It does not boast of the loivest rate of Premiums, but it boasts of exhibiting the purest principles of Mu-
tual Assurance, and of combining security and economy to the utmost extent, and thus bestowing the greatest
possible benefit on each contributor.
