The following Signals are hoisted at the end of the
Pier, to indicate the Depth of Water : —
Phen tho Ball is hoisted to the top of the mast, .
Ditto, with a pendant under, .
Ditto, pendant above the ball,

Ditto, with a pendant under,
Ditto, with a pendant above,
All these Signals half-mast down give half a foot more water.
N. B. There is always o feet more water in the Fairway than
shown by Signal.
