A rare edition, of which only four other copies are known, of Hume's Political discourses, the first of his works to be translated into Spanish. Political discourses was first published in Edinburgh in 1752 and comprises Hume's principal contributions to political economy and was a work closely studied and lectured upon by Adam Smith.
