Slight manuscript alterations, in either the Declaration or Receipt, will be accepted, if initialled—in
the Declaration by the Person attesting, in the Receipt by the Payee.
This amount may be claimed through any bank in the country or abroad, but the Form must be
presented for payment by a London Banker at the Office of H.M. Paymaster-General, Whitehall, S.W.l.
It must be left by the Banker one day for examination.
NOTICE.—Before proceeding abroad, Officers in receipt of Retired Pay or Pension must obtain
the permission of the Air Ministry.
Under the Act 28 and 29 Viet., c. 73, Reserved and Retired Pay can neither be sold nor transferred,
nor can it be assigned as a Security for debt or otherwise.
