2 Colonel Campbell’s ser¬
vices : Egyptian campaign of
1801, including the surrender
of, and action to the westward
of Alexandria, campaign and
battle of Corunna, siege and
capture of Flushing.
3 Colonel Macdonald ac¬
companied the expedition to
Hanover in 1805, joined the
army in Sicily in 1806, and
was employed with it in its
various operations from 1806
to 1810; in 1810 went with
the expedition to Naples, and
was present at the capture of
Ischia and Procida; returned
to Sicily and employed against
the French army in 1811; in
1812 was employed in Spain,
including the battle of Castella,
and siege of Tarragona; em¬
barked for Canada in 1814, and
was present at the operations
before Plattsburgh; received
three wounds at Waterloo, viz.,
in the leg, in the neck, and
through the body, wounding
_ the lungs.
4 Major Clements’ services : Capture of the
Cape of Good Hope in 1806; expedition to
South America; campaign and battle of
Corunna; expedition to Walcheren; Penin¬
sula from 1810 to 1814, including Cavares and
Merida, Salamanca, Begar, Vittoria, Valley of
Bastian, and the Pyrenees.
5 Captain Mudie served in the Peninsula
from Nov. 1813, to the end of the war, including
the blockade of, and repulse of the sortie from
« on I Bayonne. Served the campaign of 1815, and
