51 Lieut.Colonel H. R. Digby served with the o'2nd Regt. with the Walcheren Expedition in
1809, and subsequently in the Peninsula in the Light Division, including the siege of Ciudad Ro-
drigo, retreat from Burgos, battle of Vittoria, advance in the Pyrenees, affair of Tavbes and D'Oleron,
and battle of Orthcs and Toulouse on tlic staff of Sir Andrew 13ariiard (War Medal with four Clasps).
32 Lt.Colonel De Visme has the War Medal witli one Clasp (or the battle of Fuentes d'Onor.
50 Lt Colonel Dickson served the Eastern campaign of 1854 withtheSOthE^gt., including the
battles of Alma (severely wounded) and Inkernian (wounded), siege of Sebastopol, and repulse
of the sortie of 26th Oct. (Medal and three Clasps, 5th Class of the Medjidle, and Turkish Medal).
54 Lt.Coloncl J. A. Digby served with the l-2th Lancers in the Kaffir war of 1851-53 (Medal).
Served with the Grenadier Guards before Sebastopol (Medal and Clasp, and Turkish Medal).
65 Lieut.Colonel Dillon served in the expedition to St. Domingo in 1809. Served also in
China (Medal), and was present at the first capture of Chusan, storm and cajiture of the heights
above Canton, and of the sea-batteries on Amoy, and subsequent capture of the city.
.'56 Lt.Colonel M. T. Doyle sailed in 1805 with Lord Cathcart's expedition to Hanover, and
being shipwrecked became a prisoner of war to the Dutch. In 1808 he went with Sir Arthur
"Wellesley's expedition to Portugal and was shot through the body at Roleia. In 1809 he was at
the siege, sortie, and capture of Flushing, and storming of Fort Rimakins. In 1810, 11, and 12
he served in the Peninsula in Picton's Division,—in pursuit of Wassena from Santarem, actions
at Pombal, Redinha, Roblida, Condeixa, Sabugal, and Fuentes d' Onor ; siege of Badajoz in
1811, cavalry affair at El Bodon, siege and storm of Ciudad Rodrigo, siege and storm of Bada¬
joz (a ball lodged in the cavity of the chest, unextracted—a ball tfirough the right arm, which
was splintered—neck and head wounded) ; battle of Salamanca, capture of Madrid and the Re-
tiro. In 1814 embarked for Canada in command of a detachment of the 5th—repelled two
attacks on the Transport by Privateers. Present with the Army at Plattsburg. He has re¬
ceived the War Medal with seven Clasps.
57 Lt.Colonel Drought served in the Peninsula, France, and Flanders with the 13th Dragoons,
and has the War Medal with five Clasps for Albuhera, Vittoria, Nivelle, Orthes, and Toulouse.
58 Lt.Colonel Edwards served with the STtli Regt. on the Coast of Calabria, and was present
at the capture of a frigate,corvette, and 24 gun-boats in the Bay of Naples; also at tlie taking
of Iscliia and Procida in 1809; the subsequent campiiigns in the Peninsula, including the action
at Ordal, battle of Castalla, and siege of Tarragona. Served afterwards iu the American war,
and was present at the action at Piattsburg.
59 Lt.Colonel Ellison landed in the Crimea on the IGth Oct. 1854, from which period he
sen'ed as Brigade Major with the Brigade of Guards, and was present at the battles of Balaklava
and Inkerman (promoted Brevet Major), and siege of Sebastopol (Medal and Clasps, Brevets of
Major and Lt.Colonel, Knight of the Legion of Honor, 5th Class of the Medjidie, and Turkish
Medal).
60 Lieut.Colonel Falkiner served in the Peninsula with the 61st Regt., and was present at the
battles of Talavera, Busaco, and Salamanca, for wliicli he has the War Medal with three Clasps.
61 Lieut.Colonel Feilden served the Eastern campaign of 1854-55, with the 44th Regt.,
including the battles of Alma and Inkerrnan, and siege of Scbastopol (Medal and Clasps, and
Turkish Medal).
62 Lieut.Colonel Fcndell served in the Peninsula from 1809 to the end of the war, including
the battles of Albuhera, Usagre, Vittoria, and Toulouse.
63 Lt.Colonel Fisk served as Adjutant of the 17th Light DragooiuJ during the campaign of
1820 in Kutch.
64 Lord Cliarles FitzRoy was at the battle of Corunna, and served on the Walcheren Expe¬
dition with the Guards. In 1811, he joinotl Lord Hill's staff, and was present at the siege and
enpture of Badajoz, battles of Vittoria, Pyrenees, Nivelle, Nive, Orthes, Toulouse, and Waterloo,
and has received the War Medal with eight Clasps. He also served two years with the Army of
Occupation in France.
65 Lord Frederick FitzRoy served mider Sir Robert Stopford during the operations on the
coast of Syria in 1840 (Medal).
C6 Lieut.Colonel Flamank served in the Peninsula with the 51st Regt. from Jan. 1811, to ji
the end of that war in 1814, including the battle of Fuentes d'Ouor, second siege of Badajoz, [
covering the sieges of Ciudad Rodrigo and third siege of Badajoz, affair in front of Moresco,
battle of Salamanca, retreat from Burgos, battles of Vittoria and the Pyrenees (30th and 31st
July), passage of the Bidassoa, battles of Nivelle and St. Pe, and battle of Orthes. Served also
tlio'campaign of 1815, including the battle of Waterloo and capture of Cambray.
67 Lieut.Colonel Jonathan Forbes accompanied the 78th Regiment to Holland as a volun¬
teer, and was present in action at Morxem 13th January, also on the 2nd February 1814, and at
the bombardment of Antwerp. Served also the campaign of 1814 and 1816 in Flanders.
68 Lt.Colonel Fortescue served the Eastern campaign of 1854-55, includmg the affairs
of Bulganac and M'Kenzie's Farm, battles of Alma (horse killed), Biilaklava, and Inkerman,
capture of Balaklava, siege and fall of Sebastopol (Medal and Clasps, Brevets of Major and
Lt.Col., Sirdinian and Turkish Medals, and 5tli Class of the Medjidie).
69 Lt.Coloncl the Hon. A. E. Eraser served the Eastern campaign of 1854 witli the Scots Fusilier
Guards, including the battles of Alma, Balaklava, and Inkermau, siege of Sebastopol and sortie on
the 26th Oct. (Medal and Clasps, Brevet Major, Sardinian and Turkish Medals, and 5th Class of
the Medjidie).
70 Lt.Colonel Francis Fuller served with the 59th at the capture of the Cape of Good Hope in
