2 Colonel Riky commanded the 48th Regt. in the Crimea from 21st April 1855, at the siege and fall of
Sebastopol (Medal and Clasp, Knight of the Legion of Honor, and 6th Class of the Medjidie).
4 Major Aplin served the Eastern campaign of 1814-55, including the battles of Alma and Inkerman,
siege and fall of Sebastopol, and affiiir in the Cemeterv. Wounded while in command of the sharpshooters
of the 28th Regt. (Medal and three Clasps, Brevet Major, Knight of the Legion of Honor, and 5th Class of
the Medjidie).
5 Captain Bedingfeld,'and Lieuts. Rawlins and Wilkinson, served at the siege and fall of Sebastopol from
3rd Sept. 1865 (Medal and Clasp). Lieut. Wilkinson served also on detached duty in the Dockyard from
14th January to I4th March 1856.
6 Major Blakeney served in the Crimea from 2nd June 1855, at the siege and fall of Sebastopol, and on
detached duty in the Dockyard firom 14th January to 14th March 1866 (Medal and Clasp and Brevet Major).
