• Major Abbott served in the Crimea and was present in the action near Eupatoria while attached to the Light
Cavalry Brigade (Crimean and Turkish Medals).
'+ Captain Bojle served the Eastern campaign of 1854-53 in the 5th Dragoon Guards, and was present in the
battles of Balaklava, Inkerman and Tchernaya, siege and fall of Sebastopol (Medal with three Clasps, and
Turkish Medal).
^ Major Brooke served in the Osmanli Irregular Cavalry during the Crimean campaign (Turkish Modal).

Tehernaya, siege and fall of Sebastopol, and was also present with the Light Brigade at Eupatoria (Medal with
three Clasps, and Turkish Medal).
1" Riding Master Noake served in the Eastern campaign with the Royal Dragoons, and was present at the
battle of Balaklava and at the siege of Sebastopol (Medal with two Clasps, and Turkish Medal). Has also the
Medal for Distinguished Conduct in the Field.
