" Captain G. R. Pearce.—For War Services, see Militia (Royal Fusiliers).
^^ Captain H. R. Porter served with the expedition to China in i860, and was present at the capture of Taku
Forts and surrender of Pekin (Medal with two Clasps).
33 Lord Raglan served in the Afghan war in 1879-80, and took part in the march to Candahar with the force under

' Lieut. Armitstead was engaged in suppressing the mutiny of the 62nd and 69th Beug.-J Native Infantry and Horse
Artillery at Mooltan on 31st Aug. 1S58 (Medal).
" Lieut. Frederick Bayly served in the Peninsula from June 1810 to the end ofthat war in 1S14, including the battles
or Busaco and Castalla (Medal with Clasp). In the American war iu 1814 and 15, including the attacks on
Baltimore and New Orleans, at which la.st he was slightly wounded. AVith the Prussian Ai-my in 1815, at tho
taking of the fortresses cf Mauheuge, Landreeies, Philippeville. and Rocroy.
* Lient. E. C. Cox served in the Afghan -war in 1879-80 (Medal).
'5 Captain Gray served in the 7th Dragoon Guards with the expedition against the insurgent Boers beyond the
Orange river, and was present in an affair on the 20th April 1845. Served also throughout tho Kt/fBr war of 1846-47
(Medal).
" Lieut. Mayo served with the 3Sth Regiment at the siege and fall of Sobastopol from 29th Aug. 1853 (Medal witb
