1 General Brown served throughout the Panjaub campaign, aud was present with the 24th at the passage
of the Chenab and the battles of Sadoolapore and Chillianwallah (wounded), and as Major of the 29th Regt at the
battle of Goojerat (Medal with two Clasps).
« Major Beazloy served with the Force which attacked and destroyed the town of Malageah W. coast of Africa
m May 1855. Served with the 83rd Regiment during the suppression of the Indian mutiny, and was present at the
affair of Sanganeer 8th August 1858, defeat of the Gwalior rebels at Kotaria, surprise and attack of the rebels
at Seckur (Medal with Clasp for Central India).
7 Major Karslake was present with the 83rd Regiment at the siege of Kotah and its capture by assault affair at
Sanganeer, and defeat of the Gwalior rebels at Kotaria (Medal with Clasp).
'1 Quarter Master M'Quade served throughout the Indian campaign of 1857-58, and was present at the suppres¬
sion of a mutiny at Nusseerabad in August 1857, at the siege and capture of Awah, siege and capture of Kotah
surprise and attack of the rebels at Seckur (Medal with Clasp for Central India). '
