'Lt.Colonel Tucker served with the 80th Regiment with the left attack during
(Medal with Clasp). Served in the Porak operations in 1876, part of the time as Brigade Major
left attack in the operations against Sekukuni in 1878 ; commanded the 80th Regiment in the Column under Colonel
Rowlands on the Swazi border in the Zulu war of 1879, and subsequently the troops at Luneberg ; also commanded
the regiment in Wood's Column during the march through Zululaud and in the engageme:\t at Uluudi (C'iJ., Medal
with Clasp).
" Major Creagh served with the 50th Regiment m the Crimea, subsequent to the fall of Sebastopol, from the
nth Sept. 1855 to the end of the Russian war. Also in the New Zealand wars from Nov. 1S63 to 1866, and was present
at the storm and capture of Rangiawhia, repulse of the enemy's attack on the Camp at Nukumaru (in command of
a party of the 50th), the capturo'of the fortified village of Ketemari and the Putahi Pah (Medal). Served with
a detachment of the 80th Regiment in the Expedition to Perak under General Colborue in 1875-76 (Medal with
Clasp). Served in the Transvaal in the operations against Sekukuni in 1S78. Served in the Zulu war of 1879,
first in command of three companies of the 80th Regt., and aftei-warda asCommandant of the Leydenbiu'g District.
Served subsequently in the Transvaal until invalided, in the operations against Sekukuni in 1879 (Medal with Clasp).
3 Major Stone served with the Military Train in New Zealand from 1864 to 1867 (Medal).

'5 Captain Sherrard served as Staff Officer in the left attack against Sekukuni in 187S, and as Acting Adjutant
of the 80th Regiment during the operations of the Column under Colonel Rowlands on the Swazi border in 1879,
and during the invasion of Zululand and the engagement at Ulundi (Medal with Clasp).
'" Captain Potts served as District Adjutant of the Transvaal during the operations against Sekukuni in 1878;
was with the 80th Regiment in the Column under Colonel Rowlands on the Swazi border in 1879, and during the in¬
vasion of Zululaud and the engagement at Ulundi (Medal with Clasp),
'■ Lieut. Chamberlain served in the Transvaal in charge of two 6-pounder guns in November and December 1878;
was with the 80th Regiment in the Column under Colonel Rowlands on the Swazi border in 1679, and during the in¬
vasion of Zululand and the engagement at Ulundi (Medal with Clasp).
18 Lieut. Hast served with a detachment of the 80th Regiment in the Perak expedition in 1876. Trained, equipped
and commanded a mule battery of 7-pounders on the Zulu border in 1878, for which he received the thanks of
his Excellency Lieut.General Lord Chelmsford. Served throughout the left attack against Sekukuni, and had
charge of two 6-pounder guns in the Column under Colonel Rowlands on the Swazi border in 1879, and during the
invasion of Zululand and the engagement at Ulundi (Medal with Clasp).
'3 Second Lieut. Ussher served with the 80th Regiment in the Transvaal in November and December 1878, in
the Column under Colonel Rowlands on the Swazi border in 1879, and during the invasion of Zululand and the
engagement at Dlundi (Medal with Clasp).
*> Lieut. Lyons served with the 80th Regiment in the operations against Sekukuni in 1878, and afterwards as
District Adjutant and Remount Officer at Lydenburg. Served also in the operations against Sekukuni in 1879
and was present at the storming of the stronghold (Medal with Clasp).
