1"' Captain Nagle served the Eastern campaign of 1854-55, including the battles of Alma and Inkerman (wounded),
siege and fall of Sebastopol, sortie of 26th October, and assault of the Redan on the 8th September (Medal for Dis¬
tinguished Conduct in the Field and annuity of ;C2o, also Crimean Medal with three Clasps, Knight of the Lesion of
Honor, and Turkish Mednl). i.e. s
^^ Captain O'CiillnKluui served with the 13th Light Infantry throughout the campaign of 1840-42 in Affghanistan,
including the storming of the Klioord Cabool Pass (wounded), recapture of the Fort of Mamoo Khail, at the attack
on the Rear Guard under Colonel Denny at Futteapore, and various skirmishes, heroic defence of Jellalabad and
sorties of 14th November, ist December 1841, 14th and 24th March, and ist April 1842, general action and defeat of
Akbar Khan before Jellalabad on 7th April (Medal). Storming the Heights of Jugdulluck, general action of Tezeen,
and recapture of Cabool (Medal), and was with the force which rescued the Cabool captives. Was present'at the
suppression of the Sepoy mutiny at Sukkur in Scind in 1844. Sei-ved in the Crimea from 30th June 1855, including
the battle of Tchemnya, siege and fall of Sebastopol (Medal vrith Clasp, and Turkish Medal, also Medal for Distin¬
guished Conduct in the field). Served in the Indian mutiny campaign in 1857-58, including the relief of Azimghur,
also with the escort of a large convoy of stores and amirunition into the gan'ison of Azimghur, subsequent pursuit
of Koer Sing's Force, attack on Jugdespore, and action of Toolsepore (Medal).
1™ Captain Owen wiis wrecked in KM.S. Suleiffh on 14th April 1857. Served in China in 1857-58, was at the destruc¬
tion of Mandarin junks in Escape and Fatsham Creeks, blockade of the Canton river, storm and capture of the city
(Medal with two Clasps).
■''' Ciiiitain J. R. Pearson served as Deputy Commissary of Ordnance at Cawnpore during the relief of Lucknow;
also in the same capacity with the Siege Train in the Rohilcund campaign, and was present at the battle of Bareilly,
action of Shahjehanpoie, and capture of Mohumdee (mentioned in despatches. Medal).
"2 Captain I'ardey served in the Peninsula from February 1813 to the end of that war in 1814, and has received the
War Medal with one Clasp for Toulouse.
1^3 Captain Parko served in the Black Sea in the latter part of 1S55.

"^ Captain Pitman served in the Baltic in July andAugust 1854 (Medal), and subsequently in 1854 before Sebas¬
topol until its fall, and was in command of a Mortar in the flotilla employed during the siege, occupation of the Sea
of Azof, bombardment of Taganrog, and destruction of ships, stores, &c., thei'e, also at Marioupol and other towns
cm the coast where lie wms landed, was in the mortar flotilla at the bombardment and surrender of Kinbourn (Medal
with two Clasps, Knight of the Legion of Honor, 5th Class of the Medjidie, and Turkish Medal). Served the Chinese
campaign of 1S60 (Medal).
'"' Captain Poilard served in the operations against the Taeping Rebels in China, and was with the storming
party of the 67th Regiment at the second capture of Kahding, Served in the 2nd West India Regiment in the
Ashanti war in 1873, and was the next senior officer to Colonel Festing in the two engagements at Elmina (Medal).
''" Captain Potham served the Eastern campaign of 1854-55, including the battle of Alma (wounded) and siege of
Sebastopol (Medal with two Clasps, and TurkishMedal). Served with the 7th Fusiliers in the Indian N.W. Frontier
war of 1863 with the Eusofzyo Field Force, and was present at the defence of the Sungahs at the Umbeyla Pass

in command of a half battery of Mountain Artillery (Medal with Clasp).

'*' Captain Sninil sen'ed with the Baltic expedition in 1855 (Medal). He corimandcd the Launch of H.M.S. Esk in
action at the capture of a ?ilimdariu junk and a Snake-boat, the former of which was set on fire and destro.yed, the
latter l^rought off under a heavy fire from an armed village, in a branch of the Canton river on the 6th JUI3- 1857,
was employed in-the blockade of the river and subsequent operations until the close of the campaign of i860 (Medal
with Clasp). Was also engaged on two separate occasions at the taking of many piratical vessels in 1859 and i860.

actions of Chankiawhan and Paliatchow and surrender of Pekin (Medal with Clasp).

="" Captain F. A. Stebbing served at the siege and assault of Delhi in 1857, and during the six days' fighting in the

until its capture on the 2nd April 1825, engagements near Prome on the ist 2nd and 5th December following, cap¬
