1 Lieut.General Brown served throughout the Punjaub campaign, and was present with the 24th at the passage
of the Chenab and the battles of Sadoolapore and Chillian wallah (wounded), and as Major of the 29th Eegt. at the
battle of Goojerat (Medal with two Clasps).
2 Lt.Colonel T. S. Brown served the Eastern campaign of 1854, and up to the 26th Feb. 1835, with the ssth Regi¬
ment, including the battles of Alma and Inkerman, and siege of Sebastopol (Medal with three Clasps, 5th Class of
the Medjidie, and Turkish Medal). Served also on the Bhootan expedition in 1866 (Medal with Clasp).
^Captain Beazley served with the Force which attacked and destroyed the town of Malageah W. coast of Africa
in May 1855. Served with the 83rd Regiment during the suppression of the Indian mutiny, and was present at the
affair of Sanganeer 8th August 1858, defeat of the Gwalior rebels at Kotaria, surprise and attack of the rebels
at Seckur (Medal with Clasp for Central India).
" Captain Knrslake was present with the 83rd Regiment at the siege of Kotah and its capture by assault, affair at
Sanganeer, and defeat of the Gwalior rebels at Kotaria (Medal with Clasp).
' Major Scrivener was present at the bombardment and capture of Mohumrah in the Persian campaign in 1S57.
" Quarter Master M'Quade served throughout the Indian campaign of 1857-58, and was present at the suppres¬
sion of a mutiny at Nusseernbad in August 1857, at the siege and capture of Awah, siege and capture of Kotah,
surprise and attack of the rebels at Seckur (Medal with Clasp for Central India).
