1 Sir Arthur Clifton's services:—Campaigns of 1809, 10,11, 12,13,14, and 13. Commanded a squadron in covering and
supporting four Spanish guns at the battle of Talavera, and employed in ditierent subsequent operations; battle of Busaco,
pursuit of Massena from Santarera, taking from him prisoners and baggage; battle of Fuentcs d'Onor, actions at Navft
d'Aver, El Bodon, Fuonles Guinaldo, and Aldea de Ponte; several affairs during the retreat of the army from Salamanca
to Ciudad Rodrigo; charged with a squadron a body of French Infantry under General Clauscl. near SaLamanca, killing or
taking nearly a tiundred of the enemy ; battle of Vittoria, blockade of Pampeluna, several affairs in the Pyienees, battle
of Toulouse, skirmishing with the enemy and covering the retreat on the 17tli of June, and battle of Waterloo. Sir
Artiiur has received the Gold Medal and one Clasp forFuentes d'Onor and Vittoria; and the Silver War Medal with three
Clasps for Talavera, Busaco, and Toulouse; is a Kniglit '^nd Class St. Anne of llussia, and 4th Class Wilhelm of Holland.
3 Lt.Colonel Ainslic served the Eastern campaign of lt55, including the battle of Tchcrnaya and siege of Sebastopol
(Medal with Clasp, and Turkish Medal).
3 Major Coney and Lieut. Lee served the Eastern campaign of 1854-55, including the battles of Balaklava, Inkerman,
and Tctiernaya, and siege of Sebastopol (Medal with three Clasps, and Turkish Medal).
G Major Diion served the Eastern campaign of 1854-55 with the 7th Fusiliers, including the battles of Alma and
Inkerman, and siego of Sebastopol (Medal vrilh three Clasps, and Turkish Medal).
