I Mr. Gloag served with the nth Hussars throughout the Eastern campaign of 1854-55, including the affair of
Bulganak, battles of Alma, Balaklava, Inkerman, and Tchernaya, siege and fall of Scbastopol (Medal with four
Clasps, Knight of the Legion of Honor, 5th Class of the Mcdjidie, and Turkish Modal).
3 Mr. R. J. G. Hurford served with the i6th Lancers dm-ing the campaign in Ail'ghauistan under Lord Keane,
including the siege and capture of Ghuznee (Medal). He was also in the action atMaharajpore, 29th Dec. 1843 (Bronze
Star). Served with the gtli Lancers in the Sutle.j campaign in 1846, including the battle of Sobraon (Medal). Also
in the Puujaub campaign of 1848-49, including the passage of the Chenab at Ramnuggur, and battles of Chillian-
wallah and Goojcrat (Medal with two Clasps). Served in 1857 it the siege and capture of Delhi, actions of Bolund-
shiir and Allighur, battle of Agra, and reliefs of Lucknow and Cawnpore (Medal with two Clasps).
■* Mr. T. Hurford served with the 12th Lancers in the Crimea, and has the Modal with Clasp for Sebastopol, and
the Turkish Modal.
5 Mr. Owles served, from 21st July 1855, at the siege and fall of Sebastopol (Medal with Clasp, and Turkish Medal).
Served the Indian campaign of 1857-58, including tho actions of the Hindnu on 30th and 31st May 1856, siege and
capture of Delhi, taking of Bareilly, and operations in Oude (Medal with Clasp).
" Mr. Barker served with the loth Hussars in the Crimea from 17th Aug. 1855, including the siege and fall of Sebas¬
topol (Medal with Clasp, and Turkish Medal). Served with tho 7th Hussars in the Indian campaign from Feb. 1858
to March 1859, and was present at the repulse of the enemy's attack on the Alumbagh, siege and capture of Luck-
now, affair of Barree, and action of Nawabgunge, occupation of Fyzabad, passage of the Goomtee at Sultanpore,
throughout the Byswarra campaign, including the affairs of Kandoo Nuddee and Hyderghur; also the Trans-Gogra
campaign, including the alfnir near Churda and jiursuit, taking tho Fort of Moojeedia, attack on Bankee and pursuit
to the Rniiteo, advance into Nei^aul and affair at Sitkaghat (Medal with Clasp).'
' Mr. Constant served the Eastern campaign of i854-";5, including the battles of Alma, Balaklava, andlnkerman,
and siege of Sebastopol (Medal with four Clasps, and Turkish Medal).
>* Mr. Delany sei-ved on the General Staff throughout the Eastern campaign of 1854-55, including the battles of
Alma and Balaklava, siege and fall of Sebastopol (Medal with three Clasps, and Turkish Jledal).
'■' Mr. Grey served the Eastern campaign of 1854-55 with the Sth Hussars, including the battles ot iuma, Balaklava,
Inkei-man, and Tchernaya, affairs of Bulganak and M'Kenzie's Farm, siege and fall of Sebastopol (Medal with four
Clasps, and Turkish Medal). Served in Bajpootana and Central India in 1858-59, including the capture of Kotah,
reoccupation of Chundaree, battle of Kotah ko Serai, capture of Gwalior, actions of Koondrye and Boordah, siege ■
and capture of Powree, battle of Sindwaho, and action of Koorwye (Medal and Clasp).
1" Mr. Longman served in the Royal .ArtiUery with the expedition in China in i860, and was present at Sinho,.
Tangku, capture of Taku Forts, actions near Tangohow, and surrender of Pekin (Medal with two Clasps.)
