Second Lieutenant (temporary Lieutenant) Frederick Leopold Puach, 19th
fCounty of liondon; Battalion, The Loudon Regiment (St. Pancras), Territorial
Force.
For conspicuous gallantry, marked ability and reanuroe at Loos on 25th and
27tn September, 1915. During the advance through Loos he leu a party of
bomoers, and, going alone into a house, captured seven Germans, blthough
badly shot, in the face by one of them. Noi.withHi anding nis serious injury
this very gallant Officer continued clearing tne enemy out of the cellars in
the town.
Lientenant Pnsch organized the bombing attack of Grenadiers on S7tk
SepLemb"r, operating from the Chalk Pit against the Copse, at gr**t
personal risk, and helped materially in its capture.
