I Prince Edward of Saxe-Weimar served the Eastern campaign of 1854 with the Grenadier Guards, including the
battles cf Alma, Balaklava, and Inkerman, and siege of Sebastopol (wounded in the leg in the Trenches, 19 Oct., and'
mentioned in despatches, Aide de Camp to the Queen and Colonel, CB., Medal with four Clasps, Officer of the Legion
of Honor, 4th Class of the Medjidie, and Turkish Medal) .
9 Lt.Colonel Miles served with the 1st Life Guards in the Egyptian war of i882,and was present in the engagements
at El Magfar and Mahsama, in the two actions at Kassasin, at the battle of Tel-el-Kebir, and at the capture of
Cairo (Medal with Clasp, and Khedive's Star).
10 Lt.Colonel Galley served with the 1st LifeGuards in the Egyptian war of 1882, and was present in the engage-
ments at El Magfar and Mahsama, in the two actions at Kassasin, at the battle of Tel-el-Kebir, and at the cap-
ture of Cairo (Medal with Clasp, and Khedive's Star).

12 Major Grenfell servei in the campaign in the Soudan under Sir Herbert Kitchener in 1S98 as Acting
Orderly Officer to Brigadier General Lyttelton, and was present at the battle of Khartoum (mentioned in des-
patches, Brevet of Major, British Medal, and Khedive's Medal with Clasp).
1 3 Captain Cookson served in the campaign on tne North West Frontier of India under Sir William Lockhart in.
1897-98 (Medal with Clasp).
14 Surgeon Lt.Colonel H. R. O. Cross served in the Zulu war in 1879 with the Mounted Infantry of the Flying-
Column and with the Cavalry Patrol until the capture of King Cetywayo (Medal with Clasp). Also served in the
Boer war of 18S1 with the Mounted Infantry of the Natal Field Force.
