A ship, the Betty Galley of London, was driven on shore
at Mall Bay, Co. Clare, where 278 hogsheads of tobacco and
other goods from Virginia were all carried away except 13
hogsheads, thus defrauding the Queen of customs and the
owners of their goods. The goods are to be delivered up to
JohnNapper, collector of Limerick, before 31 July that they
may be reshipped, paying such salvage as is due. Any
informer will be well rewarded and pardoned.

The parish church of Finglass (Co. Dublin) was broken
into on 19 October and a strong iron-bound oak chest with
the poor's money of the parish taken away. A pardon and
£10 reward to any accomplice'convicting the robbers to be
paid by William Palmer, Esq., Deputy Clerk of the Council.

not go to market for fear of being stripped on the roads.
