Va- are 1682.
Badges have been given to the poor of Dublin belonging
to the various parishes. All other beggars in Dublin are to
be arrested on Sunday next, 14 May, between 10 and
11 a.m., and taken to the Hospital in Back-Lane or to a
prison for examination and punishment. After that date
all beggars without a badge, or begging out of their parish,
are to be arrested. Is. reward will be paid.

money may be granted. A list of those authorized to grant
exemption. Francis, E. of Longford, Lemuel Kingdon,
William Dickinson, William Strong, and Eobert Bridges
to be commissioners for hearth-money. All money due on
hearths, &c., on 10 January to be paid to them.
