Warrants must contain expressed in the body thereof the
names of the persons against whom they are granted.
Justices are not to issue warrants only returnable to them¬
selves. Any persons aggrieved by illegal warrants to apply
to the Privy Council or to Judges of Assize.

On the application of John Forth and others, late farmers
of the revenue, the commission granted to John Stone,
Samuel Eichardson, Eichard Bucknall, Dr. Eobert Wood,
and Thomas Breedon is revoked, and a new one issued to
John Stone, Thomas Breedon, and Daniel Burgess on 8 May
to collect arrears due to the farmers.

Cites royal letter 13 Feb. 1676[-7]. The following rules
are laid down for settling the undisposed part of the said
security. Possessors compounding for the fee of any land
and discovering the King's title themselves to pay one-third
the value at 10 years' purchase (land), 8 years' purchase
(houses). Encumbrances to be deducted. If the fault in
tide is discovered by any one else the possessor has to satisfy
him and pay one half of the remainder. Deductions from
value for improvements. Eules for calculating the values
of the quit-rents.

Ormond.
By law, night watches are to be set from Ascension to
Michaelmas and from Michaelmas to Easter, six men at each
gate of the city, and twelve men in every borough, six or
four men in every town to watch it from sunset to sunrise.
Suspicious strangers to be arrested, or the watchmen to raise
the hue and cry on them till they are taken. The execution
of this law is revived. All subjects to be ready to follow the
hue and cry.

Wool has been fraudulently exported. Inquiry is to be
made. Informers will receive half penalty. Custom house
officers to certify what wool has been exported under licences
granted before 25 Dec. 1675, and how much is still to be
exported. The bonds for landing wool in England to be
given in to the Exchequer. Wool to be shipped only from
Drogheda, Dublin, Eosse, Waterford, Youghall, Cork,
Lymrick, Gallway, Sligo, Londonderry, or Carrickfergus.
