Cites Privy Council letter 26 Sept. Peter Talbott, pre¬
tended Archbishop of Dublin, and all other titular popish
archbishops, bishops, vicars-general, abbots, and all others
exercising ecclesiastical jurisdiction by the Pope's authority
are forthwith to depart out of this kingdom, all convents,
seminaries, and popish schools are dissolved and suppressed,
and regular priests are to depart. Arrangements made for
shipping. A search to be made on and after 1 December.

No papists to have or carry any muskets, calivers, pistols,
or other guns without licence. All who have arms to give
them up within a month to the ordnance stores or the
persons mentioned, who will give receipts for them. List
of persons in each county authorized to receive arms. Those
who do not deliver up their arms to be accounted public
disturbers.

Kecites tenor of proclamation 27 Oct. 1673, No. 844, q.v.,
issued on royal letter of 26 Sept. last, ordering Peter
Talbot, titular archbishop of Dublin, and all other persons
exercising ecclesiastical jurisdiction by authority from
Kome, to leave Ireland before 1 December last, and all
convents, &c., to be dissolved, and ordering arrest of all
such persons found in Ireland after that date. This pro¬
clamation has not been obeyed. All persons are to give it
strict obedience at once. All regular priests, &c., to leave
the kingdom within 21 days. Officers to make search for
them and arrest them.
