The late intermission of proceedings against Romish
ecclesiastics has encouraged them to open public oratories,
colleges, mass-houses, and convents for education, &c., and

The use of soldiers to collect assignments on the Crown
rents and revenues made to officers is very burdensome to
the country. All soldiers quartered on any persons for
default are to return to garrison, and the chief officer of
every company is to apply to the Court of Exchequer for
relief, where payment with costs and damages will be
enforced.
