the obstinate returning of the Transplanted Irish
Septs into the Queenes Countie, and other Counties
bordering vpon the same.

Many transplanted Irish septs have returned into Queen's
County. They are to leave it within seven days on pain of
death. Any one receiving former septs or their families to
be fined £20, half to informer, and imprisoned during
pleasure. Sir Charles Coote, Baronet, to execute this
proclamation. Any gentleman harbouring any of these
banished septs to be severely punished by the Council. All
men and women of banished septs found in or near Queen's
County to be accounted rebels, and executed by Martial
Law.

pressed. Estates of under 500 marks to be free of fees.
Poor gentlemen may have Officers of Arms on paying Is. a
mile each way, and 40s. for blacks. A certificate of the
prices of funeral work to be obtained from two Kings of
Arms at London. [The Certificate given by Garter and
Clarencieux is appended.]

By royal letters 16 August the grants of undertakers in
Cavan, Fermanagh, Tyrone, Dunegall, and Ardmagh are
renewed on payment of £40 fine for every 1,000 acres,
doubling the former rent and taking bonds for performance.
The letters patent to be issued within five months at half-
fees.

reformation of the great abuses in Weights and
Measures, and for the due execution of the Office of
his Maiesties Clearke of the Market, in and through¬
out this Realme of Ireland.

It is the duty of the Clerk of the Market to sui-vey abuses
in weights and measures, and in all trades using them, and
the quality of food, cattle, and manufactures. He must
punish forestallers, engrossers, and regrators ; he and his
deputies must pass through every county once a year to
mark weights, &c. Hooped measures (which can be altered
at pleasure) to be suppressed. The general regulations
resemble those of the English proclamations. The table of
fees is reckoned in Irish money, 2d. English to 4d Irish.
