4.3 8 The Tojfibility State IV,
finite in Knowledge and in Power: And hence, agree¬
able to the Didoes of Reafui, we conclude the PoJJi-
bility of the R.efurr0m, even in the Gales fuppofcd.
Material Things may change their Forms and
Shapes, may be rd'olyed into the Principles of which
they are formed : But they are not Annihilated,
or reduced to nothing ; nor can they be fp, by any
created Power. God is omnifcient, bis Under Hand-
ing is infinite: Therefore he knows all 'Things whftt-
foever j what they were at any Time, what they
are, and where they are to be found. Tho’ the
Country-man, who comes into the Apothecaries
Shop, cannot find out the Drug he wants; yet the
Apothecary himfelt knows what he has in his Shop,
whence it came, and where k is to be found. And

and infallibly knows, how the moft minute Particle,
and every one ot them, is to be match’d. And
therefore he knows, where the Particles of each dead
Body arc; whether in the Earth, Sea, or Air ; how
confus’d foever they ly. And particularly he knows,
where to find the primitive Subftance of the Man-
eater ; howfoever evaporate or reduced, as it were,
into Air or Vapour, by Sweat, or Perfpiration ;
And hpw to feparate the Parts of the Body, that
was eaten, from the Body of the Eater; howfoever
incorporate or made one Body with it: And un-
