XT.AVING made the necessary preparations far Multi pi
cation, multiply continually together the 2d and 2d term
and the reciprocal of the 1st, for the answer.
Examples.

Note. In this solution, having represented the 4th term in the fori
of a compound fraction, by expressing the continual product of the 2
term, and Sd term, and reciprocal of the 1st, as must always be dom

other, and the 16 cancels the 2 and the 8, leaving onJy one third fd
