REDUCTION OE VULGAR FRACTIONS.
Reduce and to a common denominator.
Reduce 4% and ^ to a common denominator.
Rule III.
If the less denominator of two fractions divide the great-
r, multiply the terms of that which hath the less denomv
i ator, by the quotient.
Examples.
Reduce -f- and TJT to a common denominator.

Rule IV.
When more than two fractions are proposed, it is some-
imes convenient first to reduce two of them to a common
lenominator, and then these and a third, and so on till they
>e all reduced to their least common denominator.
