Adjectives of more than one syllable, and those ending
in a vowel generally have their plurals like the nominative
singular.
E.G.—Buidhe, yellow ; sunndach, lively, jolly.
Singular. Duine sunndach, a jolly man.
Plural. Daoine sunndach, jolly men.
Singular. C6ta buidhe, a yellow coat.
Plural. Cbtaichean buidhe, yellow coats.
Many of the adjectives undergo a change when i is intro¬
duced.

line are aspirated, and all cases except the Genitive in
the feminine.
2. The Genitive Case feminine adds final e like Group I.
The plurals also end in e. Polysyllables do not add the e
in the plural.
