We have now illustrated all the forms of the ‘ Article ’
in the Nominative and Dative Cases—both mascuhne
and feminine—in the Singular. We have also seen that
the Nominative and Dative plural is ‘ Na.’ Na h- before
vowels, Na h-amadain. Asummary table of all these forms
and of the Genitive Forms is given below ; it might be use¬
ful for reference. In the Summary understand the sign
( + ) to mean ‘followed by’; E.G. An (+ vowel), means
an, followed by a vowel; E.G. An eala.
