The Senior Section will be divided into three sections.
A’ GREEN CARD
Competitors must be fluent — i.e. they must be able to converse fluently with a Gaelic Tester.
Competitions:
B’ YELLOW CARD
Competitors must have some Gaelic, though not necessarily fluent — i.e. those who have made progress in
learning the language.
Rule 17(e)
Entrants in any of the Senior Learners’ Section competitions shall not be eligible to enter in that Section
after six years from the time they submitted their first entry.
Competitons:
Silver Pendant Competitions (Men and Women)
Orals — Learners (Men and Women)
‘C’ WHITE CARD
Competitors who sing in Choirs only (no change).
Competitions:
Lovat and Tullibardine — 50%
Lorn Shield — 50%
Margrat Duncan — 25%
There are five open competitions which require no testing
Kennedy-Fraser Competition (Men and Women)
Mull and Iona (Men and Women)
Senior First Prizewinners at Local Mods (Men and Women)
Junior Competitions
