out of garrifon. The providence of God
is kinder to us. than we could have ex-
pected, for we laid our account fo firmly
for the fiege, that we thought nothing
could put it by us ; but kind Providence
you 'fee has fallen upon a way to put it

I received yours this forenoon,
which was written yefterday. It is a fa-
