of David Leighton, in Balrownie, and had issue :
(1) Annie, died unmarried.
(2) Margaret, married George Fairweather.

(4) Magdelene, died unmarried.
(2) Margaret, in 1795, married George Fairweather, (of the
Kirriemuir Fairweathers), late tenant in Brathinch, and had four
sons and four daughters.
(1) David.
(2) James.

(4) Alexander, (writer of this History.)
(5) Anne.
(6) Jean.
(7) Margaret.
(8) Elizabeth.
All of this large family died unmarried.
