(1) William married Mary Gilchrist, and had four sons and
two daughters.
(2) Alexander, (The Reverend), died June 24th, 1869 ;
married Elizabeth Clark, who died, January, 1861, and had
issue :
(1) Thomas.
(2) Agnes.
(1) Thomas, Merchant, Mintlaw, Aberdeen, married Mary
Morrison, and had children.
(4) James, died 1st March, 1869, married Catherine Dewar,
and had :
(1) William.
(2) James.
(2) Elizabeth.
(4) Margaret Jane.
George, second son of George of the Monument, succeeded
in Milltown of Balhall, and married, as his first wife, Jean
Brand, daughter of William Brand, Mains of Findowrie, and
by her had children baptised as follows :
(1) George, November, 1725.
(2) Jean, July, 1725.
(3) Alexander, August, 1729.
