'S tric a bha Reabard ma d' chomraich,
Cha n'eil uair a ni mi t-iumradh,
Nach tuit mo chroidhe gu trom-chràdh.

Tha mi m sheasabh mar a b' àbhaist,
Ma thà thusa t-fhear ealain,
Cluinnemid annas do làimhe.
