In 1896 Colonel Macgregor married Mabel Phoebe
Annie Mary, elder daughter of the late Samuel Hyde
Parrish and Elizabeth Mary O'Brien, Ravensworth,
Essex. He has two sons, Alastair Alpin Douglas and
Iain O'Brien; and two daughters, Jessie Alpina and
Margaret Helen Mabel. He has always been a genuine
Highlander, fond of his country, the Gaelic language,
and the loyal race from which he springs.
