Description	Cartoon by Lieutenant-Corporal L. Mosley. This cartoon shows a training officer bearing down on one rather confused trainee. The caption reads: 'Training Officer: "HI! YOU THERE - YOU'RE HOLDING YOUR BAYONET WRONG WAY ABOUT." / Recruit: "THAT'S A-PUPPOSE TO CHEAT THE ENEMY, ZUR."' The cartoonist was sadly killed in action : a note has been included after his name. The material for this special summer edition of 'Blighty' was contributed by men on active service. The normal weekly issue of 'Blighty', however, also included at least two pages of contributions from men at the Front, entitled 'From the Fleet and the Trenches'.

Description	This special summer edition was a selection of some of the best poems, stories and sketches submitted. A note at the back of the magazine informed readers that many of those chosen for inclusion had been written 'in the trenches and dug-outs, whilst the Hun shells are screaming overhead'.

Distributed by the War Office, the Admiralty and the Red Cross, and subsidised through donations and sales to the general public.

Blighty and Sea Pie
Description	Editions of 'Blighty' (1917, 1918) and 'Sea Pie' (1917-1919), First World War magazines with pictures, stories, poems and humour. 'Blighty' was sent free to the men at the front and in the fleet. Profits from sales of 'Sea Pie' went to help sailors and their families.
