GREENOCK v. WEST OF SCOTLAND at Glenpark—May
24th, 1930.
Extract from
Greenock Telegyafih
of May 26th, 1930.
" R. N. Adam and W. N. Walker stopped the rot for a spell.
The latter showed the spectators a revival of his best form, and
there was great enthusiasm as he played charming strokes all
round the wicket. He won rounds of applause, and received a
special cheer by placing the ball in a garden in Fox Street."
