of August 27th, 1928.
" Greenock were without J. Reid Kerr, Dr. W. Hope and R. K.
Ferguson, and the home eleven batting first declared for 168 runs
for five wickets. Ackroyd within eight of the century carried
his bat. Greenock were all out for 40, A. Neill (20) being the
only player with double figures. Bowling for Clydesdale C.C.
Downie had five wickets for 9 runs."
