GREENOCK v. DRUMPELLIER at Glenpark—May 17th,
1890.

.
Extract from
Greenock Telegraph
of May 19th, 1890.
" During this partnership run-getting was painfully slow, the
Greenock bowling being dead on and difficult to play. Especially
was this the case on the part of Mannes against Neill. Time after
time he stepped in before the wickets and stopped the ball with
his legs, Neill's break being apparently too much for him. But
he did this once too often and was given out l.b.w. a decision which
greatly pleased the spectators who were now present in consider-
able numbers."
