Baths.
Each night, with the exception of two,
directly I had finished walking for the day a
warm bath was taken. In this I lay for about
two minutes and then washed all over with
soap to take off the travel stains.
The days following the nights the bath was
omitted I had terribly aching feet, caused by
the presence of uric acid in the blood.
As I lay in the bath I could distinctly feel
the uric acid leaving my body, and when I
came out all heaviness had gone. This is
something for people with rheumatic ten-
dencies to reflect upon.
I was surprised myself at the difference the
bath made. After the bath I rubbed my body
all over with pure olive oil, nothing else.
