SCOTTISH COUNTY
CHAMPIONSHIP, 1923
The Scottish County Championship showed
a strange upheaval from the season of
1922.
Aberdeenshire, who were champions in that
year, had a bad time and finished at the bottom,
while Perthshire jumped from well down the
table to the top. The Big County had a very
good year. Forfarshire also showed improve-
ment, Clackmannan fell back considerably (they
were runners-up in
1922),
while the others
remained much as they were.
