the peculiar fame you have acquired, io
adequate to the wonderful a6ls of your ad-
min iftration. You are now in full poffef-
iion of that fame at the head of Tories and
Scotfjien 'y but alas ! my Lord, how fan-
taftick as well as tranfitory is fame ! The
meaneft have their day, and though Mr,
Pitt is now adored, as the head of Whigs
and E?igliJJjmenf the great eji can but blaze ,
andpafs away.
