On Munanday at Morn,
As through the Fields I pail.
To view the Winter Corn,
I looked me behind.
And faw come o'er the Know,
Ane glancing in her Apron,
With a bonny brent Brow.
Ifaid, good morrow, fair Maid i
And fhe right courteoufly
Returned a Beck, and kindly faid ^
Good T>ayy fweet Sir, to you,
I fpear'd, my dear, how far awa'
Do ye intend to gae.
