the Skene MS., entitled, " 1 love my love for love again," whicli is considered to be an early version of the air " Jenny Nettles." For an
interesting account of the strange being known as Jenny Kettles, see Mr. K. Chambers' note to the song in Songe of Scotland jprior to Burns.
The tune is inserted in Bremners Scots Beels, 1757.
