DescriptionScottish songs and music of the 18th and early 19th centuries, including music for the Highland bagpipe.There are more than 330 publications contained in about 320 selected from the collection of John Glen (1833-1904). Also available are a few manuscripts, some treatises, and other books on the subject.

DescriptionOver 400 volumes from three internationally renowned special collections of printed music. The Glen Collection and the Inglis Collection represent excellent archives of 18th-19th century Scottish music, including Scottish songs. The Hopkinson Verdi Collection contains contemporary and later editions of the works of Verdi, collected by bibliographer Cecil Hopkinson.
