The roses fauld their silken leaves,,
The foxglove shuts its bell,
The honeysuckle, and the birk,
Spread fragrance thro' the delL
Let others crowd the giddy court
Of mirth and revelry,
The simple joys that Nature yields
Are dearer far to me.
