EDINBURGH MUSICAL FESTIVAL.
At a General Meeting of the Directors of the Edinburgh
Musical Festival, held here the \5th instant,
THE LORD PROVOST IN THE CHAIR,
A state was laid before the Meeting, by Mr John Rus-
sell, of the sums received by him as Treasurer, and of the
expences of the Festival, so far as yet ascertained, of which
the following is an abstract :—
EXPENCES.
I. Expences of the performers, including
orga*; &c. for six regular performances £ 2890 11
Extra expence for the concert on Friday 243 l
Carried over =£3133 12
