Description	Being a collection of the best merry ballads and songs, old and new. Fitted to all humours, having each their proper tune for either voice, or instrument: most of the songs being new set. 6 volumes. London, Printed by W. Pearson for J. Tonson, 1719-20. A 19th century reprint from a broken set of the two issues of the 1719-1720 edition. Volumes 1, 3-5 belong to the first issue; Volumes 2 and 6 to the second.

Glen Collection of printed music
Description	Scottish songs and music of the 18th and early 19th centuries, including music for the Highland bagpipe. These are selected items from the collection of John Glen (1833 to 1904). Also includes a few manuscripts, some treatises, and other books on the subject.

Special collections of printed music
Description	The Glen Collection and the Inglis Collection represent mainly 18th and 19th century Scottish music, including Scottish songs. The collections of Berlioz and Verdi collected by bibliographer Cecil Hopkinson contain contemporary and later editions of the works of the two composers Berlioz and Verdi.
