D’ fhag mi ’n t-Oganach, cleiisda’;
Urradh dheanadli mo thacar,
’Slabhairt dhachaidh na spreidhe.
’Nuair a thainig do mhathair,
Cha do chairicii i’m breid oir,
’Nnair a thainig do phiuthair,
Bha sinn dubhach le cheile.
’S ge do chaidh thu sa chreig ud,
Cha b’e’n t-eagal a lengh thu
’S ann a rin do chas sraonadh,
’S cha do d’fheud thu riamh eirigh.
Nuair a thainig do bhrathair,
Cha do chaomhainn, e’n eughadh,
Bha sinn dubhach, a’s craiteach,
Gad amharc ann cein uainn.
